The day broke earlier, as light shone bright,
Through morning shadows of grey,
The rooster had announced, by the way,
The gym time again being six,
When the evil spirit is still asleep…
I took to the road…
I took to the stretcher,
With my stretchers,
To relieve my back of the rust gone bad,
As my biceps bulged banange

And yearned for the machine…
On my right was Nicky,
As she spread her legs wide,
The instructor, pushing wide,
She screamed “ oh what a tide “
My eyes opened wide,
To grasp these Caribbean tides!
I moved to the ropes,
And swung my arms with a swag,
Like Kafiti the village wag!
Then came Lean, the lady that screamed,
At every move,
As though in a bed,
Without end!
I gasped for mother air,
Like my friend Bulegeya,
Who left the girl friend at Wandegeya,
When the bomb blasted at Bamuda,
In 1996 or there about!
