The fiasco in Ivory Coast

They say God created France to assimilate,

And that’s what happened for them to accumulate,

As colonies were to assimilate,

Lest assassinate,

First it was ivory, then slaves,

In their enclaves,

Some hiding in caves..

Then the Cocoa and the diamonds,

Like demons to the colonisers,

And a curse to the colonised,

In Abidjan, the colonialist built like their own,

Like they did in Kenya,

Themselves in mind..

Their future at hand…

Did they really mind?
