It rained while shining bright
THE DIARY OF A COVID-19 WALKER
Part 98 “It rained while shining bright“
Yesterday, I took a very unfamiliar walk,
While gasping for mother air,
Stretching my lungs to full length,
Birds, frogs, beetles, surround,
In this great Naalya valley,
I met Mary,
Jogging upwards,
While my self went downwards..
What a jigsaw game
Like that guy in the US,
Who carried me and my family
Along, singing funny
And unintelligible words,
Deep roots of slavery,
Than sheer bravery!!!

Washington DC..
I had a stitch in my lower torso,
But sojourned on anyways,
For lack of tots to note,
The previous night…
Having had real bad luck,
Like bad black

!
You see, my friend missed a date,
By arriving late,
At the gate,
Of the Estate,
Before Council goons,
Dropped it off dead
Like Kafiti, the village wag
!
The stars are alaigned by the galaxy
Whence astrologists drink astray,
In the constellation of humans going astray,
By the way..
Like Poseidon or Zeus, the Greek gods,
At play…
Let us pray

The walk took me by Lucky 7 mart,
It changed! Yes it did!
Where I found Kwata, touching
Some stuff in a flask,
Like a fly whisk,
I took a shot of black label whiskey,
And booked a turkey for Xmas relay!
Please do not label…
Moving up to the CJs security ring,
I noticed this was not Cafe Java’s along,
As guys had some smell,
That of night and day,
Without a shower,
I shuddered!

There’s light after every dark day,
Day follows darkness,
As for people to live,
We must die,
Or die to live..
There’s a new variant,
Soon or already in the city,
It’s a pity,
Or dear sugar,
It’s terrible and vulgar,
Let yee all immunize,
To live or die trying,
That is the question
Again like Kafiti,
The village wag!
It rained while shining,
The hyena gave away,
Its daughter anyways
