At campus , they knew me as Land Lord,
But had no land of mine at all,
With et’al
So to speak…
That night, the fateful night,
We went for Mitchellex Baazar,
When Ekudu, was still the Dean,
And Kirunda, the Warden..
His red sport maroon levin or corona,
Marooning all day and night ,
Before Corona did havoc..
As though time never moved…
This warden had words!
In other-words

And danced in the corridors of UH,
The only University Hall,
Without a hole,
Except those leaking roofs,
On block D,
Where Diana screamed so loud,
And was named African song queen,
From Africa Hall,
Wholeheartedly!
I laughed my lungs

out,
But chagrined upon being vegetarian!
Should have been a vet,
So I prick, all the marauding mini-vets!
When Pepe Kale came to UH hall,
I saw him tall,
And against the quadrangle wall,
So I pressed the wench,
Beneath the window out of reach..
She whined,
We wined,
Even though I rotated all night long,
Like a log

,
On river Nile in the morning fog..
Some ear splitting thunder,
Cried loud, in unison, “Tugooga Tugooga”,
In the neighboring medics’ room,
The kind of song of the frogs

When they make their eggs hatch !
In this muzzle of life..
Like Kafiti,
The village Wag!
